Using PDF editor
Add text, images and shapes, or replace individual horizontal text runs. Embedded-font text requires an explicit font substitution; scans and complex layouts remain limited. Use Redact PDF for sensitive information.
- Open a PDF. Editable text, images and vector shapes are detected automatically when each page opens.
- Click text on the page and type, then press Enter or Apply text. Drag the move or resize handles on supported objects; font and shape properties appear beside the page. Add text still lets you place new content manually.
- Download a copy and review every edited page, especially text spacing and clipping. Undo and redo existing-object edits with the controls above the toolbar.
Limits and checks
Up to 250 pages per input PDF and 100 MB per batch. Encrypted or malformed files may not open.
Frequently asked questions
Can I directly rewrite existing PDF text?
Supported horizontal text runs are changed or deleted in the PDF itself, not covered with rectangles. Standard fonts can be retained; embedded-font text uses the replacement font shown in the properties panel, embedded in the export. Substitution may change spacing. Existing top-level images and vector shapes can be moved, resized or deleted, and shapes recolored. Table text and lines are individual PDF objects, not automatically reconstructed tables. The selection boundary follows dragging; the PDF rendering refreshes when the gesture finishes. Replacement text currently supports basic Latin only. Scans, nested graphics, rotated or specially clipped text and complex structures remain limited, and paragraphs do not automatically reflow. For sensitive information use the dedicated redaction tool.
Is my content sent to a server?
No. Processing runs inside your browser. Optional editor recovery saves a draft on this device only. Read the privacy policy.
Will my original file be changed?
No. Downloaded results are separate copies. Open the finished output before sharing it or deleting an original.
