Set the visible page boundary precisely
Drag the crop edges or move the crop selection directly over the page. The numeric margins are measured in PDF points, with 72 points per inch. The preview uses unrotated page coordinates so that the top, bottom, left and right values correspond to the crop box written into the PDF. Inspect differently sized pages before applying one set of margins to all of them.
Cropping does not erase information
Cropping changes the visible boundary, not the underlying page content. Text and images outside that boundary may remain recoverable. For confidential content, use the dedicated redaction workflow and inspect the result rather than relying on cropping.

Limits and checks
