Initial browser-first release
PDF page operations and overlay editing; destructive image-based redaction; JPG, PNG and WebP preparation; a content-focused document editor; a limited spreadsheet editor; CSV and text utilities; QR codes; checksums; batch renaming; and general invoices.
Deliberately outside this release
No OCR, full embedded-font and complex-layout text replacement, PDF-to-Office reconstruction, password protection or removal, certificate signing, online collaboration, cloud storage, macros or full Office compatibility. These require separate implementation, licensing review and verification before being offered publicly.
Limited native PDF text replacement
The PDF editor can change or delete supported standard-font text runs using a local PDFium WebAssembly engine. Replacement does not use a cover rectangle. Embedded fonts, rotated text and scans are not supported. Added text overlays remain a separate workflow.
Website and support
VertexFiles is configured for vertexfiles.com. Contact and issue reporting are available by email. Analytics is optional on browsing pages. Advertising remains disabled pending the publisher and consent setup.
