Using JPG to PNG

PNG exports preserve the decoded JPEG pixels, not details already lost to JPEG compression. File sizes often grow; converting to PNG does not restore quality.

  1. Choose a supported still image.
  2. Set JPG, PNG or WebP output and choose a background if using JPG.
  3. Preview and download a new file.

Limits and checks

Still JPG, PNG and WebP images, up to 24 megapixels, 12,000 pixels per dimension and 100 MB per batch. GIF animation, SVG, PSD, HEIC and RAW decoding are not included.

Choose JPG, PNG or WebP for the job

Frequently asked questions

Is my content sent to a server?

Will my original file be changed?

No. Downloaded results are separate copies. Open the finished output before sharing it or deleting an original.
