Know what kind of signature is requested
A drawn signature is a visible mark. It does not use a digital certificate, verify an identity or provide a trusted timestamp. Some recipients accept a visual signature and others require a specific certified signing process. Check with the recipient before preparing the file.
Create a clean mark
Use the signature drawing area with a mouse, pen or touch input, or add a signature image. A transparent PNG avoids a white rectangle covering page content. If you use a photograph, crop it closely in the image tools first and inspect the background.
Position at a readable size
Choose the correct page and place the mark inside the signature field. Adjust its position and dimensions in the properties panel. Add your name and date as separate text overlays when required. Existing PDF text is not directly edited by this tool.
Keep both the source and the signed copy
Download the output, open it and confirm that the signature has not moved or covered important wording. A signed copy can contain personal information, so store it carefully. Reusing a signature image is convenient but also means that image should be treated as sensitive.
