Replace every placeholder
Templates provide structure, not verified personal or business information. Replace names, dates, contact details, amounts and reference fields. Search for bracketed placeholders before sharing. Agreement templates are working drafts and need appropriate legal review before use.
Prefer widely available fonts
Built-in font choices refer to fonts available on the device, with browser fallbacks when a font is missing. A custom font upload loads that font for the current session only. It is not uploaded to a server or permanently installed on the device. Use only fonts for which you have the necessary rights.
Choose an editable or fixed-layout result
DOCX is useful when the recipient needs to continue editing. HTML, Markdown and plain text have different formatting limits. Browser Save as PDF is useful for reviewing a printable copy. Open the exported document in the recipient's likely application before sending an important file.
Allow for round-trip differences
The editor does not guarantee identical Microsoft Word pagination or advanced object fidelity. DOCX and HTML downloads do not embed uploaded custom fonts, so recipients may see substitutions. Keep the original import and a final reviewed copy instead of relying on a single round-trip export.
